The Engineering Department has been directly involved in the following tasks:
· Supporting the Town's Land Use Commissions
· Insuring Town wide DEP compliance
· Overseeing some of the Town funded construction projects
· Providing flood awareness information and flood zone determinations for residents
· Actively involved with the General Government's Health & Safety Committee
· Providing staff support to Stonington Stormwater Task Force
· Assisting with the continued implementation of our Town wide Geographic Information System, Permit Tracking and Document Management Systems.
