ORDINANCE RE: LICENSING OF ITINERANT VENDORS
No person other than a regular dealer shall peddle, vend or sell in any street, or from house to house in the Town of Stonington, any wares, fruits or vegetables or other articles from carts or baskets, except from products raised by a vendor who is a citizen of said Town of Stonington and fish taken by a citizen of said Town of Stonington from the waters of this State or elsewhere.
Every person so licensed shall pay a license fee of not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than fifty dollars ($50.00), and said license shall be for a period of one (1) year.
Every person who shall violate any provision of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and pay a fine to the treasury of said Town of not less than one dollar ($1.00) nor more than ten dollars ($10.00).
All ordinances or parts of this ordinance inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
