PROPERTY TAX WAIVER UNDER FIVE DOLLARS
ORDINANCE RE: WAIVER OF PROPERTY TAX UNDER FIVE DOLLARS
BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE LEGAL VOTERS OF THE TOWN OF STONINGTON IN LAWFUL TOWN MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED:
That the Town hereby adopts the provisions of and invokes the option provided by Section 12-144c of Connecticut General Statutes relating to the waiver of any property tax due in an amount less than five dollars ($5.00). The payment of any property tax due the Town in an amount less than five dollars ($5.00) shall hereby and hereafter be waived and the office of the Tax Collector of the Town shall be authorized to adjust its records accordingly.
