We have received an additional allotment of Covid home test kits.
We have a limited supply (approx. 500) to share with the public and ask you please only take a kit if you are symptomatic or have been in close contact with someone with COVID. Further, if you were able to get a kit during our first distribution and have not been in need of using that kit, we ask that you please allow other residents the opportunity to receive a kit. As a reminder, these tests are only for Stonington residents.
Kits will be distributed on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 3PM at Stonington Human Services via drive through pick-up. Please follow the signage and line up at the tennis courts.
Please also know that once the location is out of tests, we will not have any further tests available. We will post on the Town website and social media channels when our site is out of tests.
It remains important that all residents who are able get their COVID-19 vaccine, and if you are eligible, please get a booster. Vaccinations have been able to save lives and keep people who get COVID out of the hospital.
For more information on additional testing opportunities please visit the Town site here, and for vaccines here. Please wear a mask, and hopefully a smile under that mask, when you come to pick-up your test kits.
Thank you for your understanding.
