Currently Vaccinating: Individuals 5 years of age and older. Please visit the State of Connecticut’s website for more information.  In addition to the sites listed below, for children, you can check with your pediatrician to see if they offer the COVID-19 vaccine to patients. More information on the vaccine for children can be found here. 

Boosters: Everyone 16 years and older should get a COVID-19 booster shot. You should get a booster if it has been at least two months since you received J&J or six months since you received a second shot of Pfizer or Moderna. 

Assistance: If you need assistance with making appointments or obtaining transportation, please contact us in the First Selectman's Office or at Human Services. The Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center is offering free transportation to seniors within a 20 mile appointment radius. If this does not work for you, contact us as we have other options available as needed. 

Homebound residents: Do you know of a homebound individual (family, friend, neighbor, etc) in need of a COVID-19 vaccine? Please help them register for more information (as it becomes available) by filling out the following form: https://dphsubmissions.ct.gov/homebound. Completion of the form is optional and is only for requesting enrollment with the homebound vaccination database - to be shared only with CT Department of Public Health and vaccinator entity. The information you enter will be used for purposes of scheduling your vaccination and will be kept private.

As of December 10, 2021, 77.4% of hospitalization cases are people who have not been fully vaccinated. 

Status: 

  • 77% of Stonington residents have received a vaccine and 70% are fully vaccinated. 
  • 78% of CT residents have received a vaccine and 70% are fully vaccinated.  (see more data here).

The most direct way to see all available appointments is to visit ct.gov/covidvaccine and enter your ZIP code to receive a list of the closest available clinics and instructions for how to make an appointment. Those without internet access can call the state's vaccine appointment help line at 877-918-2224.
