Charlene Swink is a Sanitarian II, (health inspector) that regulates food, lead, daycares, lodging, cosmetology, pools, bathing waters, mosquitoes, and complaints. Charlene began her public health career interning for Ledge Light in spring 2016, while finishing her Public Health degree from Southern Connecticut State University. Upon graduation, she became an Environmental Technician for Ledge Light and, after obtaining state and national certifications was promoted to Sanitarian II.
