Cosmetology, Lodging, Pools, Daycares and Bathing Water Sampling
Ledge Light works with State Agencies (CT Department of Public Health and CT Office of Early Childhood) to conduct plan reviews, inspections and license/register all cosmetology facilities (barber shops, salons, nail salons and threading facilities), lodging (hotel, motels and rooming houses), public pools (hotels/motels, condos and municipal) and daycare centers (child care centers). We also conduct weekly bathing water (beach) sampling of district bathing areas from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
