Stonington Human Services remains HERE for you! Providing assistance to residents in applying for critical supportive services during this challenging time. For the safety and well-being of our team, and the community at-large, our lobby and public spaces remain closed to the general public at this time.  Normal business hours apply, M-F – 8:30am-4pm.  Case management services are being conducted remotely as much as possible, with in-person appointments available as deemed necessary.  Please call our office at (860) 535-5015, leave a message and we will respond within (1) business day.

Cold temperatures are coming and we are now taking applications for energy assistance.  Call (860) 535-5015 to find out if you qualify for help paying your home energy and heating bills.  TVCCA’s Energy Assistance Program helps low and middle income families and individuals pay their home heating bills. 2020-2021 ENERGY ASSISTANCE INCOME GUIDELINES:  Household of 1: $37,645 | Household of 2: $49,228 | Household of 3: $60,811 | Household of 4: $72,394.

We have partnered with United Way to distribute ALICE Relief Fund benefits to qualified Stonington Households.  ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) Funds assist households in our region that have been directly impacted by the pandemic; lost a job, decreased hours, or lost wages due to taking care of someone with COVID at home.  The Fund provides a $200 grant directly to an individual’s smart phone (one person per household; gift cards are available for households without a smart phone or State provided phones which cannot download apps).

Stonington Human Services 3rd Annual Benefit Golf Classic is SOLD OUT; however, there are still ways to help support the event and our program scholarships. Please consider buying tickets to our raffle! Many, many thanks for the tremendous show of support from the listed sponsors, as well as Stonington Country Club.  To enter:  https://go.eventgroovefundraising.com/golfclassic2020.
