GivingTuesday 2021

GT

GivingTuesday is a global movement built upon the common goal to inspire and increase generosity. It is an opportunity for people around the world to come together to thank, give, show kindness, and share what we have with those in need. With so much attention given to what divides us, generosity can help remind us of what unites us.

We can show our generosity in a variety of ways during GivingTuesday—whether it’s helping a neighbor, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to others—everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts.

GivingTuesday started in 2012 as a simple idea, incubated at the 92nd Street Y and the Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact in New York City. GivingTuesday is now an independent nonprofit and a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
