The Stonington Transfer Station is a residential Transfer Station open to Stonington residents only.  No permit is necessary.  We accept cash, checks and debit/credit cards.  Sorry no Apple or GooglePay.

Monday, Tuesday: 9:00 to 3:00
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday, Friday: 9:00 to 3:00
Saturday: 8:00 to 3:00
Sunday: 8:00 to 1:00

$125.00/ton  ($6.25 per 100 lbs)  If it is not in Yellow Bags or Single Stream recyclable there will be a per pound charge for disposal.

Appliances and Appliances W/Freon
$10.00/ea.

Discarded Carpet Must Be In Pieces No Larger That 4’ X 4’.
(there Is A Charge Of $125/ton If Carpeting Weighs More That 100 Lbs.)

We Are Now Accepting Concrete, Rocks, Bricks, Masonry, Asphalt and Clean Fill (up To 2 Yards Only)  $20.00/ton

The Following Item Is Not Accepted At The Transfer Station: Stumps              

Empty Paint And Aerosol Cans May Be Added To The Scrap Metal Pile.  Remember - These Must Be Empty.
