Per Public Act No. 14-24 AN ACT CONCERNING BAZAARS AND RAFFLES (Effective October 1, 2014),  any organization wishing to conduct a raffle or bazaar within the Town of Stonington must apply for a permit from the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection (DCP).  Applications are no longer accepted at the Police Department and should be mailed directly to DCP with the appropriate permit fee.  Once approved, the DCP will mail the permit to the Police Department for the Chief's approval.  The organization will then be notified that the permit is available for pick up, and will also be notified of the permit fee due to the Town.
