CT DOT - Upcoming Public Information Meetings Regarding the Eastern CT Corridor Rail and Transit Feasibility Study

We wanted to share that the CT DOT will be holding upcoming public information meetings regarding the Eastern CT Corridor Rail and Transit Feasibility Study.

Although this is in the early stages, this report includes four potential station sites in Stonington for alternative routing options for Shore Line East passenger rail (noted in Appendix F of the study). Please note, any next steps are currently unfunded.

The meetings will provide an overview of the study findings and offer the opportunity for the public to ask questions and provide comments.

The Draft Final Report is now available on the study website (at https://portal.ct.gov/eastern-ct-rail) and the public comment period is open through October 20, 2023.
