Reminder - Taxes Due: August 1, 2023

REMINDER

We are in the final week of Collection for Property tax, Motor Vehicle tax and Personal Property tax.  You can access your bills online at www.stonington-ct.gov

Last day to pay without penalty is 8/1/2023.  If you are mailing your payment, please be sure to take it to the clerk at the post office to ensure that you get a hand stamped postmark of 8/1/2023 or prior.  Any payment not hand stamped or received in the office on or before 8/1/2023 with incur a 1 ½% interest penalty per month back to the original due date of 7/1/2023.  This means that the first penalty will be 3% interest, 1 ½% for July and 1 ½% for August.
