COVID-19 Business Resources
The Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development has created a COVID-19 Business Emergency Response Unit dedicated to assisting businesses navigate resources and develop new resources.DECD staff cand help connect buisnesses with the other state and federal resources that are currently available. Inquiries should be sent to DECD.COVID19@ct.gov. A dedicated phone line is available at 860-500-2333 to provide assistance to Connecticut's small businesses.
We encourage businesses seeking financial assistance dealing with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic to consider the following resources:

- Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT- nearly two dozen financial resources for small businesses, restaurant and hospitality employees, nonprofits, artists, and more. Click here for the list. Both the Mystic and Ocean Community Chambers also have extensive resources on their sites.
NEW:
The Save Small Business Fund is providing $5,000 in short-term relief to employers across the United States. These one-time supplemental cash grants are for businesses that have between three and 20 employees and operate in an economically vulnerable community. The grant application will go live on Monday, April 20 at 3:00 PM ET. To learn more and to apply for a grant, visit savesmallbusiness.com.
The Town of Stonington also has a 90 day tax deferment for those impacted by COVID-19. Employeers are encoruaged to use if needed, and also share with their employees. Read more here.
